One of the traditions I’ve enjoyed since I’ve been married is sending a New Year’s card. The reveal of each year’s card is a holdover from my blog, Harlem Lovebirds, and in it’s now 15th year, I’ve found my family’s New Year’s card also serves a dual purpose in that it not only alleviates the pressure of traditional “Christmas card” timing (it’s more inclusive too), but also allows for post-holiday handwritten messages of gratitude on the back.
We keep our cards up til March, and having lived in 4 different states as a family, it’s such a joyful reminder of the friends we’ve made over the years. I design our cards on Minted, and it when it comes to the mental load of doing the cards, it’s become pretty automated thanks to Minted’s Address Assistant tool, ordering stamps on USPS.com and using a return address stamp. I put on a movie and crank them out!
Below is a round up of some of my favorite cards over the years, and while I have worked with Minted on sponsored posts in the past, this isn’t a sponsored post. I just really like Minted!
If you send out holiday cards, what is the process like for you? Do you keep yours up for a while too? Please let me know in the comments!
Oh!!! I love this so much!!!
